Write Up:
A combination of heavy snow conditions and lack of vehicle access to the loop plus bad weather gave us a lesson in humility. From lofty goals of spring ascent of iceberg to barely making it up Stanton peak.We intended to climb Vaught as an alternative, but in blizzard conditions declined to continue on the heavily corniced and slippery ridge towards Vaught. Still had a good day and even were able to hang out at Coffee Traders before closing. Along for the trip was David Ginepra, Al Hofmeister,Brian Kennedy,Derrick Fercho,Don Arthur,Linda Soper,Frank Wesolovski,and David Schuler.
