Write Up:
The cold conditions at Logan Pass also included extreme winds with dense clouds swirling around Reynolds. Huddled behind some vehicles the group decided to hike the Highline Trail and climb Haystack Butte. Arriving on the summit we discovered the Mount Gould Climbers already perched on Haystack. They had made the same decision. It turned into a pleasant impromptu GMS social gathering.
