Write Up:
Our trip up Mount Thompson-Seton began with a 2.7 mile walk up to the Ninko Cabin from Whale Creek Road. Then, after a short time on the trail, the snow began. We worked our way through the forest and up to Seemo Pass for a lunch break. The rest of the way to the top was part trail and part snow, but not as difficult as it looked from below. The old lookout appears to have collapsed from age or been blown down. Perfect weather made it an early season success. A much easier trip could be done late July through September when the trail is visible the entire way.
