Write Up:
Toured up to Little Shields on a cold day. Unfortunately we encountered wall to wall wind hammer. Took one run and went home. That's what happens sometimes. We cannot always order up perfect powder. Denise and I had much better luck the previous three days skiing excellent powder with good stability, although still very cold. Snowing heavily today and tomorrow and the avy rating is high with high moisture content snow on top of cold, faceted and unconsolidated snow. Inverted snow pack. Please use caution this week if venturing out. Thanks to Michael Mitchell, Jeremy Rossman and my lovely wife Denise for coming along.
