Write Up:
Laurel Vielle, Matt Brake, Dell Meuchel, Brian Kennedy, Louis Hatch, Frank Weslovske,Don Arthur, and John Reynolds all made this classic traverse. We bailed on my initial hope of traversing over Grizzly Mtn. on route, because of the intimidating looking east ridge of Grizzly and the lingering snowfields. Instead we first climbed directly up Appistoki peak then followed the ridge over to Mt. Ellsworth- Bearhead Mt. -Red Crow and then down to the trail below Firebrand Pass. Matt Brake and John Reynolds took the opportunity to dash over and climb Mt Henry on the way. We had great weather and made the trip quick enough to make dinner at Serranos.
