The weather forecast was not reassuring, so we hiked with a purpose. The clouds were just barely covering the summit and the wind wasn't bad when we reached Pitamakan Pass. By noon we were through the crux, up the rock and scree and on top. No views, but we made it. We couldn't see the top of McClintock, but it was't raining so we made the short climb to that summit.
