Write Up:
Denise and I had the pleasure of spending a day ski touring in the Middle Fork with three seasoned and experienced Glacier Mountaineers; Brian Kennedy, Stephen Smith and Frank Wesolovski. We had excellent powder skiing, good stability, sunshine and fresh tracks. Denise and I established a good skin track the day before in stormy conditions with excellent snow quality. Needless to say I have no problem doing the same ski touring trip on back to back days especially when the skiing is as good as it gets and the company is great. Pretty decent winter so far and a huge improvement over last year.
