Beautiful day up the south face route. The route is written up on summitpost. No difficulties or injuries. The description is vague about exactly where to cross the red scree/talus shoulder . Lower is better as there is a good game trail practically at its base. Follow that to a slope with scattered vegetation for a long ways. This provides better footing. The move described at "the notch" is elementary and requires no protection. It was a 9 hour day which could have been shorter, but I was slow.
