Write Up:
We left the parking lot at Grinnel Glacier TH promptly at 8 am. Followed the trail to the base if the great moraines of Grinnel Glacier. The morning was partly sunny and warm. The views spectacular. We enjoyed a nice snack break before heading off trail and scambling up the S/SE scree and shelf rock slopes. Beautiful bighorn sheep surveyed our progress. Reached the summit at 11:45. Enjoyed gorgeous views. Our out took us across the Swift current Glacier Basin, up to the Swift current trail and out. We watched incredibly impressive storms brewing all about on our down. The sunshine glory hole stayed with us all day and even for our chips and salsa tailgate!
