By start time the rain had ended, but the trail and the bushes were still wet. This is horse country so the trail was churned up. We had a pleasant walk following Bond Creek, sometimes visible and always audible, up to Bond Lake. Trinkus Lake, larger than Bond, was an easy mile and 500 feet higher up the valley. We had lunch and came home. This is a popular spot, so don't go expecting solitude. Trinkus Lake looked like a great spot for a fall picnic.
