Sat, Jul 9 2016 - Sixmile Mountain (View Original Event Details)

Coordinator(s): John Oliver Ellis
Participants:John Oliver Ellis, Bill Haring, Dennis Eaves

Write Up:
This trail starts out steep, then gets easier as it goes up, first in forest, then in beautiful alpine terrain. Nice huckleberries on the way. We made it to the top in two and a half hours. Normally, would have great views of Swan Lake, Flathead Lake and the surrounding mountains, but was in the clouds this trip. We had some nice views both on the ascent and descent. Trail is well maintained the whole way.
