A great group met at McDonald Lodge. We carpooled to the Lincoln Lake trailhead. Snowshoes were needed from the start. We took turns breaking trail up to Snyder Ridge. Pretty good snow to that point. Once on ridge all the way to Fish Lake, the show was crusty on top and easily broken through. No base, and snow was sugary and slick. The lake was frozen and a in full sun. Very enjoyable lunch break. The trail from there and out was well packed and extremely easy to negotiate. Snyder Creek trail wasn't even icey. Fun visiting and snacking at the back of McDonald Lake Lodge to conclude a great day in the park. Have some photos from this event that you'd like to share in our photo album?
