Write Up:
We all started in micro spikes. It was ice/compact snow with patches of bare trail to the Mount Brown trail. The snow stayed solid all the way to the lookout. Some put on snowshoes for the last 1000ft of gain. The lookout was cold and windy and views were limited. A quick lunch and we headed down via the ridge cutting out many switchbacks. The snow was deep through the trees. We were back to the vehicles by 3:00 and enjoyed a nice social tailgate.
