We had great weather and a beautiful day for a loop around Upper Rowe Lake including Mt. Rowe. We took the trail to Upper Rowe Lake and then headed along the shore to the south to a diagonal climb up to the east ridge of Mt. Rowe and then followed that to the summit with spectacular views. From the summit we descended to the west along the ridge and the Alberta/British Columbia divide and descended the ridge on the north side of the lake. Just over 10 miles and 3,100 feet of elevation gain. Have some photos from this event that you'd like to share in our photo album? Please forward them to Tim Anderson at twamontana@gmail.com. Please note that we prefer to receive the photos in approximately 640x480 or 750x500 pixels - do NOT send original high-res photos. If you have a LOT of photos, please submit up to twenty of your favorites (only) for a day event, or up to forty of your favourites for a multi-day event. Thank you. |
