Write Up:
Great climbing day with fellow GMSers Dean Stensland, Desi Palmer, Laurel Vielle, Mark Pearson, Alda Sigvaldason, David King,Paul Okerberg, Kevin Hood, Jason Wilkes, Karen Schuster, Gary Seubert and April Seubert. The day started at 8:00am with a 6 mile trail hike uptake Morning Star Lake trail. Then we jumped in for a short bushwhack that disturbed a few bees causing us some grief. We motored on climbing a section of cliffs that led us to an interesting waterfall climb. This led us into a beautiful lake basin where we relaxed refilling water bladders and having a snack. After our nourishment we climbed up the summit ridge to the top where we were rewarded with awesome views of the CutBank Valley. We retraced our steps down and added a swim in the basin lake cleaning up for the tailgate party. Wonderful day!!
