Write Up:
Following Jim Schroeder, who had been up before, and the directions in Blake's book, we spent a short time on the Grinnell Glacier trail, then headed up the open slopes to the base of the cliff band. The "grassy ramp" was easy to locate, then, after viewing the mine, another open slope to the rock and dirt base of the point. Only one spot required using both hands and feet. There were cairns which were easy to follow up, but very easy to miss going down. The top allowed great views of the whole Many Glacier area. We followed the same general route back to the trail. A good deal of elevation to gain in a short distance, but a fine climb.
