Write Up:
The Divide Mountain climb is short but steep, its a constant grunt to the top. We elected for a late start at 9am and took our time with lots of breaks and still reached the summit before noon. We did have a couple problems, the climbers trail from the parking area described is very steep and loose, one member of our party slipped off the trail and got a few scraps bumping down a gully for a few feet. Anyone attempting this should consider leaving the trail and going in to the trees, it is much safer. Also the dirt/rock road to the parking area was quite washed out, its a rough drive which apparently loosened the lug nuts on one members car to the point his tire fell off just as we reach the highway on the way out. But other than that it was a wonderful fun day.
