A very tough crew met early a the Fielding trailhead. We hiked up the fielding trail, had a creek crossing through Ole Creek and made our way to the base of Soldier moutain about 2 miles past the Ole Creek trail. We picked or way through the trees and brush to the open rock south of the summit. An easy scramble found us all enjoying the views of the park from the summit of Soldier. We then took the ridge east picking our way over to the saddle west of Sheep. From the saddle we traveled north and east traversing across snow and obtaining the ridge leading over to Bravedog. We followed the ridge and traversed along the south east side of Bravedog to the summit. A short break and a snack were enjoyed before retracing our steps back to the saddle west of Sheep. From there it was an easy scramble to the summit of Sheep. Followed the ridge south off of Sheep and then dropped southwest to the Fielding trail. The Ole creek crossing felt great on our tired feet. 19+ miles and 7000+ vertical. Have some photos from this event that you'd like to share in our photo album?
