Write Up:
A group of seven started from the Firebrand Pass trail head. Laurie Lintner caught up with the group as we descended Red Crow on our way to Bearhead Mountain - despite starting over an hour later than the rest of the group. The long side hill over to and back from Bearhead was tedious but the weather was great even with some prevalent forest fire smoke and haze. Laurie Lintner led the group on a great shortcut back towards Firebrand Pass through the Lena Lake Basin and the tailgate get together back at the vehicles made the long day with a great group very enjoyable.
