Write Up:
We followed the trail from the Loop to the Grinnell Glacier Overlook. After passing through the Overlook, we made a lateral traverse to the end of the ridge. Seeing no way forward, we ascended the ridge and located the goat trail to the summit ridge. The summit was further away than it looked. We didn't stay long as the weather was deteriorating. A long medium scree descent took us to the base of the Swiftcurrent Glacier. There wasn't much snow so we ascended through the glacial pools to reach the Garden Wall ridge west of the Overlook. A brief descent down the grassy slopes brought us back to the trail just south of Granite Park Chalet. As always, the trip from the Chalet to the Loop was hot and dusty.
