Write Up:
a terrific day hiking with a fun group. We left the Bowman Lake camping area and traveled along the trail counterclockwise. The larch were just beginning to turn and the air was cool and crisp. We enjoyed a very leisurly day. Took many pictures, relaxed at upper Quartz lake ate lunch and checked out the patrol cabin. the view from Bowman Lake shore at the end of the day was incredible with all the fall color, white puffy clouds and glasslike water giving a perfect reflection of the surrounding mountains. We built a campfire and enjoyed our tailgate treats and stories
