Write Up:
A group of six started at the Big Mountain Base Lodge and made a serpentine path up to the summit avoiding snow until the final pitch up Big Ravine. The weather was crystal clear and the opportunity to not wear snow shoes on the slightly soft snow was welcomed after the long winter. It was a great day, great group, and 7.2 miles round- trip and 2400 feet in elevation gain.
