8:00 started out from trailhead at a steady pace. We had a strong group of 6 hikers. Windy, sunny day. We made it to the the pass and followed the ridgeline up to the base of the limestone cliffs then traversed to the crux, just to the left of the chalkstone, then on to the top of Mount Morgan with no difficulty. We had a little snow at the base of the cliff that we had to drop down to walk around. Back at the saddle two hikers waited while four summited Mt McClintok (40min round trip). We hiked out together. 5036 feet, 20.19 miles, 9:13 hrs. Back at the vehicles we enjoyed chips & salsa, carrots & bean dip, cherries, and sparkling water. Kept us fueled for the drive home.
