This climb started from the Sunrift Gorge parking lot and went pretty much straight up to the summit. The first part is on the Siyeh Pass trail, then a climbers trail that fades in and out, and finally a climb up the side of the peak. We split into two groups once we were halfway up since half of the crew were considerably faster than the others. Both groups made it to the summit within a half hour of each other. A nice scree field make the down climb fast and easy. There is no shade on this climb due to previous fires in this area. Have some photos from this event that you'd like to share in our photo album? If you have a LOT of photos, please submit up to twenty of your favorites (only) for a day event, or up to forty of your favourites for a multi-day event. Thank you. |
