An excellent day with great weather, solitude, views and flowers. It was an eight hour round trip to the top of Skeleton via the notch west of Calf Robe. Great work by the team finding helpful sheep trails. On the ascent we dropped down into the drainage between Skeleton and the continental divide ridge. On the return we crossed the drainage just below the ponds then contoured up a pretty obvious route until we were below the scree slopes at the foot of the "Mummy" cliffs. This seemed to be a superior route and we'd recommend it for both directions. Robin Young, Anne Dellwo, Mary Notess, Laura Notess, Adam McClure, George Scherman.
