Write Up:
Taking the early morning boat ride across Two Medicine Lake, the group hiked the trail to Dawson Pass. The day was sunny and the wind thankfully mild after the strong gusts of the days before. After hiking up the scree to the base of Flinsch, they climbed the south face to the peak where they enjoyed the views and lunch. Descending back to the saddle, they hiked up the opposite ridge line to Helen. During the hike back down the Big Horn Basin, they had to pause for sheep and mouse blocking the trail. Fortunately, they arrived in time for the last boat ride back to the parking lot. The hikers included Eric Smart, Rob Bates, Nate Carlsen, Robert Confessore, and Mike Contrada.
