Write Up:
We met at the Swiftcurrent parking lot for an early start. We followed the Swiftcurrent Pass trail until the turnoff then followed the path up the hill through the trees. A few huckleberries were ripe. We climbed through the various levels until reaching the top, then followed the stream towards the lake. We found the old mine marker along the way. After lunch above the head of the lake, we climbed the ridge for the great view of Iceberg Lake. Most of the icebergs were along the north wall. We worked our way down the scree to the lake and then followed the Iceberg Lake trail back to Swiftcurrent. Participants were Sue Braastad, Casey Braastad, Pete Eastman, Dawn Reed, Pat Diedrich and Bill Marx.
