Write Up:
Dragon’s Tail 7/28/19. Coordinator: Richard Smith. We all arrived just in time to find parking places and beat the crowds at Logan Pass. We hugged the social trail around the west slope of Reynolds, and traversed the goat trail along the east flank of the dragon’s trail, til we reach approximately 300 feet from the deep couloir. We scrambled up the cairn marked slope to the ridge, and wasted no time reaching our objective: overlooking Sperry Glacier backed by Gunsight Peak. A leisurely stroll brought us back to a crowded boardwalk and cold drinks in the parking lot.
