This week we had some wonderful weather and had to do another climb. I had my eyes on Rocky Mountain for over year now. So I coordinated a climb on the last minute. It was on a Thursday which was the only good day this week in the forecast. So Ben Schumate and myself hiked to Headquarters Pass climbed Rocky Mountain. Over 3500 feet of elevation. We started at 0845 in the morning and got back to the trailhead at 1600. It was a warm and cool day. Followed the route Tom Kotynski describes in his book. It was very clear and accurate. It was easy to follow.
