Kate Kendall, Dusty Hosek, Jill Webster, Jane Holland, Gerie Meireis, Charlotte Jannson, Don Scharfe and George Scherman. We got started around 8:15 The skies were clear, but temps were in the low single digits and the wind at the trailhead was brisk. The wind diminished after about a mile or so and the uphill grade helped to warms us up. There were a couple of inches of new snow, blown off in the most exposed places. Underlying ice made traction devices pretty necessary. The day warmed, but half of the party turned back at around the midway point. Shortly past that the rest of us reach welcomed sunshine. Don and George summited while Dusty and Kate got to within about 800 vertical feet of the top. We donned snowshoes at around 5700ft. The final ridge though not super soft was a bit taxing (not for Don). 360 degree blue skies. A great day Have some photos from this event that you'd like to share in our photo album?
