Write Up:
With Glacier still closed, we switched to a climb of Furlong. From the Bear Creek trailhead, we then headed up the Edna Creek trail. While we took snowshoes, we didn’t use them despite going through some snow on the trail. We left the trail before the saddle and headed straight up a mostly dry ridge to summit ridge which was still covered with snow. Great views into southern Glacier and south and west into the Great Bear.
