Write Up:
We had a great trip up Stanton. The Howe Ridge fire cleared the area around the trail to give us good views on the way up, despite the bugs, and even cleared out a bit of the first part of the bushwhack. Cloud cover helped keep it cool but thunderstorms to the north chased us off the summit sooner than we wished.
