Coordinator(s): Michael Sterbis
Participants:Michael Sterbis, Chuck Stearns, Joe Schmidt, Joann Schmidt, Rita Braun

Write Up:
We were able to get as high as the ridge above the permanent snowfield just below the summit. Unfortunately there was a grizzly feeding on moths blocking our way. We took a break in hopes he would move off, but the high wind and cold temperatures had us all shivering within 15 minutes so we opted to descend. There was also a mother with one cub on/below the snowfield, and another mother with two cubs in the area as well. So no summit, but great bear viewing.
