Write Up:
Snow shoe and cross country ski hike on the Autumn Creek Trail on 05 March 2011. It was a great day. Temperature was perfect not too cold or hot. It was in the mid-twenties. It snowed during the hike but the snow was wonderful to hike on. My best one yet this year. Some places I would estimate over 5 feet deep. When Greg and I hiked this a few days after the New Year it was about two feet deep. The level was up at least three feet or more. The snow was packed down well. The team was awesome and had a great time fellowshipping looking forward to summer hikes in the park. The skiers were the envy of the trip. They were enjoying the snow weaving in and out of the trees and small slops. Now I have to invest in some skis and get into the fun next year. As always the GMS club members are all wonderful people and joy to be around. Thanks to the team for a wonderful day.
