Write Up:
There was 8 GMS'ers along for this adventure to the Old Flathead Ranger Station. It was nice weather for most of the skiing, with the sun peeking through the partly cloudy sky. A couple folks had an issue with sticky snow- but ski wax helped solve the problem. We had lunch at the confluence of the Middle and North Forks of the Flathead Rivers. The final mile of the ski back to the vehicles, the weather changed and it was blizzard conditions. Overall, it was another awesome day in GNP. Mileage for the adventure was close to 10.5 miles with 900 feet of elevation gain and the adventure took 4 1/2 hours.
