Glacier Mountaineering Climb to Old Man of the Hills (Elevation 8229 Feet) in the Rock Mountain Front. The day started with sun and ended with light drizzle. It was fun day and a great group to enjoy the Montana great outdoors with. Enjoy the video of our trip to the summit. We hiked just under 14 miles round trip with 5400 feet of elevation gain. I have a TOPO map dated back in 1915 with the name of the mountain called Dupuyer Mountain. Not sure when and why the name was changed. There is a lot of legends and story about this section of the mountain range. So, the name must of came from one of the stories. Summit list Front row (Left to Right) Adam McClure, and Anne Dellwo. Back row (left to right) David Schuler, Austin Lindsay, Michael Sterbis, Lou Herritt, Laurel Vielle, Brady Reese, and John Blevins Have some photos from this event that you'd like to share in our photo album?
