Cindy Weaver, Michelle Fauth, Greg Harrah, April Seubert. We went from 11 signed up on Tuesday to the four of us meeting at the trailhead on Saturday morning. We even left a bit early. We found dropping down to Appistoki creek provided much better walking then trying to stay high. The Appistoki falls and basin were beautiful. Cruised over the false summit to the cairn at the true summit arriving just after 11:00. We had our summit party and headed back down. Weather was great. Smoke started to roll in while we were on the summit, but we were still rewarded with great views in all directions. Tailgate party at 2:00 and home early--a bit unusual for most GMS hikes!
