Write Up:
The weather forecast all week looked bad, but we went anyway. Luckily it was wrong, the sun came out, and it was beautiful all day. The trip up was surprisingly easy as we didn't have to break trail. Two other GMS members, Linda and Diane had went up the day before and camped overnight, doing all the hard work for us. Of course Linda laid in a completely new path up, bypassing the last 20 switchbacks, so it was a little steep but much quicker. The lookout was amazing this year, completely covered in white on one side like a snow ghost.
