Eight Glacier Mountaineering Society members snowshoed to summit of Scalplock Lookout (elevation 6886 feet). Group meet at Walton Station at Glacier National Park. The group naturally divided into three groups. The first group are the Wolverines (Paul Okerberg, Joseph Jimenez, Jordan Disak, and Eric Smart) the trail breakers. Ones with the energy to summit Mount Everest, lol. Best part they broke trail. I love the Wolverines on my climbs. The second group I call the Mountain Lion. (Jason Wilkes and Pete Call). Then you have my group I called the Marmots (David Schuler and Tim Anderson). Mountain Lions stocked not as prey making sure the Marmots were OK. AT the end we all got to the summit. Lots of heavy wet snow made this a challenging climb. It was a win/win day and great team to enjoy the day with. It was a 10.2 miles day with over 3200 feet of gain. Summit Photo: Left to Right: David Schuler, Erich Smart, Paul Okerberg, Joseph Jimenez, Jason Wilkes, Pete Call, and Jordan Diask. Not in picture is Tim Anderson
