Glacier Mountaineering Society members skied the Autumn Creek Trail for 8 miles from Marias Pass towards the east. As one member stated to me the snow was like velvet. It was a windy day, but in the trees, we were protected from the high gust we heard whipping from the tops of the trees. We skied in 4 miles and out. About 800 feet of elevation gain. Temperature was in the 30’s. We could not ask for a better day, all had a great time. Summit Picture: David Schuler, Cindy Weaver, April and Gary Seubert. Have some photos from this event that you'd like to share in our photo album? Please forward them to Tim Anderson at twamontana@gmail.com. Please note that we prefer to receive the photos in approximately 640x480 or 750x500 pixels - do NOT send original high-res photos. If you have a LOT of photos, please submit up to twenty of your favorites (only) for a day event, or up to forty of your favourites for a multi-day event. Thank you. |
