Write Up:
This was an exploratory climb. It looked doable from the Satellite photos. A few days before this was to happen I did some scouting and found that that the photos were 10 years old and since then one of those super dense pine forests had grown up over the entire burn area from coal creek trail up the mountain. 3" diameter 12ft trees spaced about 9 inches apart. Very difficult to push thru without full body armor and a machette. So I cancelled the climb and offered to do a trail hike back on the coal creek trail to explore other option. But everyone dropped off.
