Write Up:
Low clouds and cool temps greeted eight GMS'ers for the long hike to the James summit. Fortunately the clouds gradually lifted for our summit gathering which featured great views of Split, Norris, Stimson and the Blackfoot Glacier area. A long but uneventful hike back to the trailhead yielded to some quality tailgate time. All in all a great day! Many thanks to all participants and hope to see you again soon.
