Write Up:
We had a very pleasant walk among the flowers. Started 6.5 miles east of Marias Pass. It is about a mile to the largest lake and from there we ascended the ridge to the east of the lake. Followed that ridge to it southernmost high point then angled back into the drainage below where we came in. Found a good trail to the ridge on the other side of the drainage and walked that to some ponds. We descended a slope back toward the trailhead. Mostly overcast, lots of recent bear diggings. 6.5 miles and around 1500ft of elevation.
