With a forecast of 90% pop in the Pintlars our GMS crew choose to venture into the Bitterroots and tackle Camus Point / Lion Point, originally scheduled July 3rd. Anne Dellwo joined Gail and Dell Meuchel for this 12 mile R/T and 4000 foot climb. The three Camus lakes were specular , as usual set in a series of terraces highlighted by boulder covered summits. The granite slabs were a joy to walk on. On the return we decided (Anne's suggestion) to undercut the north face of Camus Point and save some tiresome boulder hopping. It turned out to be an excellent route, Dev, Anne's "wonder" dog was the first to top on both summits. A great day with two beautiful ladies.
