Write Up:
A 6:30 am start time was nearly the same pm time seven GMS climbers completed the RazorEdge climb. As usual, the trek to Triple Divide Pass was a beautiful "slog". The traverse across the east flank of RazorEdge among the multiple benches was encountered many flowers and small streams. The approach to the summit block was a series of hard pan slopes and crumbled cliff bands. It proved a challenge for all. At the summit block choices of east or west split the group. After some exploration we chose the east approach and reached the summit. Joe Jimenez, Jason Wilkes, Dell Meuchel, Cole Schnedier and Karen Schuster reached the summit. Greg Pagano was limited by a bad knee. Gail Meuchel and Lou Herritt stayed near the summit block as the day was wearing. The group ventured back together sharing many GMS stories. We finished the day with beverages and Gail's famous Cowboy Caviar salsa.
