Wonderful Day with a very large group. We had 16 people on this hike. We started the day in Whitefish taking 6 vehicles to the Trail End at Sylvia Lake, we left 2 pickups there and drove the other four to the trail head on the east side of the mountain. Great Hike, from near the highpoint of the trail we headed up to the summit of Ingals mountain to visit the site of the old lookout. Still some scraps around like a coffee pot and old stove.
Then it was down the other side, very pretty area. We got hit by a
little snow squall just before end. Then spent about 20 minutes
picking ticks off each other. Never seen so many, at least a dozen
were found on me. Then drove back to the Trail Head for our tailgate.
