Write Up:
Dark ominous clouds were threatening when we met in Waterton and we were forced to sit out a brief shower in our cars before hitting the trail up Bear's Hump. It was quite windy & overcast up on Bear's Hump. There were a few really "interesting" class 4 sections along the way up the limestone ridge which a few members of the group did an excellent job of climbing through with me. We stopped for lunch where "Tick" ridge (our down route) intersects. Gail & Glynn opted to head down after lunch. Dell kindly offered to lead them down (he had climbed this peak with me previously). The rest of us continued up the ridge and were treated to one of the best viewpoints in Waterton park. It was a really enjoyable day in the park with a great GMS group.
