Write Up:
Eleven of us got together Saturday morning and hiked up through Herron Park and on up to the Chase Overlook which is part of the Foys to Blacktail trail. It was a beautiful sunny day, though the trail was quite muddy the whole way from the snow that had fallen 2 days before. Insite of the mud everyone had a great time, we had lunch at the overlook. It was a good day for birders, had a pigmy owl land in a tree near us during lunch, and had three bald eagles soring above.
