From the Lubec Lake trailhead on Highway 2 (Mile Marker 203), we hike east on the Autumn Creek Trail to the base of Stands Alone Woman Peak (+7,200 feet). Climbing a well-defined trail off of Autumn Creek Trail, we completed the first summit. Dancing Lady Mountain (7,333 feet) was next. The traverse began from here where we hiked around the south sides of two unnamed peaks to the drainage down to Lena Lake. Here, we crossed the inflow to the lake and found a trail leading over to the Firebrand Pass Trail first crossing Railroad Creek. The trail completed the loop over to Autumn Creek Trail. Total distance approximately 15 miles and +3,000 feet vertical ascent. Group Photo (L to R): Paul Cogswell, Jason Wilkes, Dennis Eaves, William Schulz, Karen Schuster, Dave Archibald. Missing: Mike Contrada (photographer). Have some photos from this event that you'd like to share in our photo album? Please forward them to Tim Anderson at twamontana@gmail.com. Please note that we prefer to receive the photos in approximately 640x480 or 750x500 pixels - do NOT send original high-res photos.
