Write Up:
Twas a beautiful in Glacier as 9 members joined Joe and myself for floral park and little Matterhorn. After coordinating rides we left logan pass area shortly after 7. Picking our way along with some up and and down we arrived at lake Mary Baker for a quick stop and continued our accent into the Sperry glacier basin and continued our way over to the base of little matterhorn taking in the views and the beautiful bluebird weather we were afforded. Another quick bite and strapping on our helmets we made our accent up Little Matterhorn. Teamwork through a couple "spicy/exposed" area's was key to getting 10 of the 11 to the summit. Careful down climbing and more teamwork landed everyone back at the base safely. A climb back to Comeau pass and an uneventful but beautiful return to lake mcdonald lodge where most of our cars were waiting. What an awesome group to share a day with in the mountains. Eric and Drew's 1st GMS events. 20.35 miles, 4875 feet of elevation gain, a little over 12 hours car to car.
